Day 1: Arrival & Dolphins Guwahati to Kaziranga

Pickup from Guwahati Airport. Drive to Kaziranga (4.5 hrs). En route stop at Maha Mrityunjay Temple (World’s largest Shiva Linga).

Evening

Dolphin Boat Safari

Private Boat Safari at Bhomoraguri/Silghat to spot River Dolphins and enjoy the sunset on the Brahmaputra.

Day 2: Full Day Wildlife Safaris & Orchids

Early Morning

Elephant Safari

5:30 AM Elephant Safari in Central or Western Range for close-up Rhino sightings.

Mid-Morning

Jeep Safari

Explore the Deep Jungle via Jeep Safari.

Afternoon

Orchid Park

Visit Kaziranga National Orchid Park (Orchids, Bamboo park, Cultural dance).

Day 3: Journey to Clouds Kaziranga to Sohra

All Day

Scenic Drive

Long drive to Sohra (Cherrapunji). Stop at Umiam Lake (Barapani) for photos.

Stay

Sohra Stay

Check into resort. Recommended: Smoky Falls Mae Fi Resort (Seven Sisters View).

Day 4: The Great Trek Double Decker Living Root Bridge

Early Morning

Drive to Tyrna & Start Trek

Drive to Tyrna village. Begin the trek (3000+ steps). Cross suspension bridges to reach Nongriat Village.

Mid-Day

Double Decker Bridge & Natural Pools

Marvel at the Double Decker Root Bridge. Relax or bathe in the natural pools. If stamina permits, trek further to Rainbow Falls (1 hr extra).

Evening

Ascent & Rest

Climb back up to Tyrna (strenuous). Drive back to resort in Sohra for well-deserved rest.

Day 5: Waterfalls & Caves Sohra Sightseeing

Morning

The Giants

Easy sightseeing day. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls view, and Mawsmai Cave.

Afternoon

Hidden Gems

Visit the 3-tier Wei Sawdong Falls and Arwah Cave (known for fossils).

Stay

Sohra/Shillong

Overnight in Sohra or move to Shillong to reduce travel time for departure.

Day 6: Departure Back to Guwahati

Morning

Drive to Guwahati

Depart for Guwahati.

Noon

Kamakhya Temple

Visit Kamakhya Temple if flight time permits.

Afternoon
